My Top Takeaways from the HeyCreator Summit [Weekend WRAP 120]

Published 3 months agoΒ β€’Β 2 min read

What a week, Reader!

I hope you were able to attend a few of the sessions from the HeyCreator Summit this past week β€” I'm still buzzing from all the excitement and lessons learned. It was an incredible week! I wanted to share a few of my favorite speakers and takeaways β€” knowing you I think these will really resonate πŸ“£

Ryder Carroll

Yes, I was able to interview the founder of the Bullet Journal! You can watch the full interview here, but here is my biggest takeaway:

The most important yet under-utilized practice in bullet journaling is reflecting. If you don't reflect on why you're doing what you're doing, you risk doing a lot of work and spending a lot of time going in the wrong direction.

Bonnie Christine

I met Bonnie at ConvertKit's Craft + Commerce conference last year and she is such an amazing person. Honestly I felt such a sense of peace listening to her story. Here's my biggest takeaway from her presentation:

Success is a combination of how you live, who you serve, the impact you make, and the joy you have in your life. It's important to define what those things are for you and align your daily actions with the kind of person (and business) you want to have.

Justin Welsh

Many of you know Justin and follow his work. He was probably our most internet-famous speaker and he delivered big-time! Coming off the launch of CreatorMBA last week, he had a lot to say about writing online, building courses, and understanding the person you are making things for.

You can watch the full interview here, but here is my biggest takeaway:

Every piece of content I write is a love letter to my earlier self. These are things I wish I had known about business, life, and doing things that matter. It sounds simple, and there is a lot of practice involved, but this is the north star that I keep coming back to in my business.

For a limited time, all 20 sessions are available to watch free of charge. After January 31st, replays will only be available to HeyCreator community members (more on that in a moment). Become a Founding Member of HeyCreator

My top priority in 2024 is leading the brand new HeyCreator community. I've been a content creator since 2011 and have produced over 1,000 pieces of content, which has led to over $250,000 in sales, and helped other creators sell over $500,000 in their own products the last two years.

But this isn't about what I have done in the past, but about gathering a group of creators who want to build their business together. When you join the HeyCreator Community, you’re a part of our shared mission to build 1,000 creator-driven businesses in 2024 (and beyond).

What’s unique about our approach is we help you build your business in a way that fits your needs and lifestyle. Not everyone needs a big team, a multi-step sales funnel, or presence on every social channel. We guide creators from tiny offers all the way up to 7-figure sales.

Here's a really quick scroll through the community, and you can see a full preview video on the community info page.

If you have any questions about the community and whether or not you're a good fit β€” please click reply and ask me! But don't wait too long. This is a paid community and we have special summit pricing through January 31st.

There are already 125 people in the community and I expect it to double in the next few days! You're not coming into a place that's a little ghost town and a few people saying hey β€” the chat is already poppin' and people are excited to make 2024 their year! I hope you'll be one of those people soon, Reader!

Have a great day and thanks for being a WRAP reader!
